Hello, my name is Kate Ro, and I am the leader of Freedom Speakers International (FSI) at Chadwick International School. FSI is an organization dedicated to empowering North Korean refugees by teaching them English and helping them prepare speeches about their personal experiences and stories. By sharing their voices in English, these refugees can raise awareness, inspire others, and advocate for freedom and human rights.

Freedom Speakers International Global High School Union (FSI-GHSU) was founded with a single mission: empowering North Korean refugees. Through our English-oriented student body, we spread awareness through social media, provide accessible English education, and coordinate various fundraisers. Currently, over 120 high school students across five countries and over thirty schools contribute to this vision, helping North Korean refugees adapt to their lives in South Korea and beyond.

The power of language and speech is the key to changing for the future, and we will work together to provide the voice for those who need it most.
