Eben's fundraiser for FSI

The organization's name is Freedom Speakers International (FSI), and this fundraiser is a $4000 Matching Donation Challenge. The organization's name suits it's mission to empower North Korean refugees to speak out on local, national an international platforms about life in North Korea and their escapes to freedom. For every dollar donated by supporters such as yourselves, it will be doubled by a generous donor.

FSI wears many hats. It publishes books of NK refugees' autobiographies telling their life stories. The NK refugees have slowly progressed to learning fluent English, to giving public speeches with ease on local, national and international platforms. FSI has recently traveled to India, and to Warsaw, Poland to attend Warsaw's "International Book Fair" where 3 NK refugees accompanied by its co-founders signed and sold their autobiographies and told passerbys their stories. Etc.

Soon FSI will be holding its "I am from North Korea" English Speech contest and will provide the refugees with free mentoring services as always.

As you can see, from the amazing activities FSI is involved in to help the NK refugees succeed, requires money for travel expenses, etc. and to help sustain the FSI NGO. Please follow my lead and donate in support of FSI. Any donation large or small is gratefully appreciated.

Thanks to a generous South Korean donor, Freedom Speakers International is running a Matching Challenge to empower North Korean refugees.

The Matching Donor has pledged $42,000 to FSI or $3,500 per month. The sooner we can hit the goal, the sooner we can get the money.

At FSI, we empower North Korean refugees through education and public speaking. Participants build English skills, develop confidence on stage, and learn how to present their own experiences with accuracy and dignity. Many now speak at universities, conferences, and public forums around the world. Some are publishing books, contributing to media discussions, and telling their stories in English for the first time.

This Matching Challenge allows every fundraiser created and every contribution made to have a greater impact. By starting or supporting a fundraiser, you help unlock additional matching funds that directly support mentoring, training sessions, speech preparation, and public events.
