Eben's BD donations gifted to FSI

February. 25th is my 85th Birthday, and gifts are usually the order of the day for me.
This year I decided that at my age, I sould share some of my gifts to a non-profit organization by the name of Freedom Speakers International (FSI). It will be the gift of money. I have enjoyed sending their organization donations for many years now, and I plan to do so for as long as my Social Security checks are deposited to my bank account.

Why am I so passionate about FSI's cause? It is because of their mission to empower the North Korean refugees in so many ways, such as helping them publish their memoirs to raise awareness of the treachery they left behind when they escaped from NK to freedom.

If those of you reading this post are not aware of North Korea, it is such an unimaginable place to be born, that North Koreans are fleeing their homeland at the risk of their lives due to the treachery that is inflicted on the citizens by the NK Kim regime.

At the moment, FSI is preparing for the "I am from North Korea" 23rd English Speech Contest being held in Seoul, South Korea, Sat. Feb. 28, from 10am to 1pm. The refugees participating will be telling their stories about their lives in North Korea along with those who choose to tell of their dangerous escapes to freedom. FSI mentors the refugees to tell their stories in English. All interested are invited to attend the event.

Your donations will help cover the costs of such events as well as trips internationally with the co-founders traveling with the refugees as they give their public speeches in English and in person. As you read the various reasons I support FSI, your contributions are the worthy BD gift I will be donating to this amazing NGO as a BD gift from a devoted FSI supporter. That would be me.
